“Implications of our Beliefs and Aspirations”

1. The God we experience and know is a God of unimaginable love and mercy.

  • Love from God, love for God, love for each other, and for the world shall permeate our church’s life and we should reflect that love throughout the world.

  • In thought, word, and action we proclaim a hopeful, positive Gospel in lieu of a negative judgmental one.

2. Individually and collectively, we are disciples on a spiritual journey to encounter God.

  • Spiritual growth is a journey instead of a destination. We expect each person involved in our congregation to move forward in their spiritual journey and be both a traveler and a guide.

  • We strive to provide a great variety of opportunities for persons to encounter God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), experience God on a personal basis, and to build discipleship. To the best of our ability we will provide the highest quality and most comprehensive, diverse, and effective ministries to the varied groups of our Church (Children, Youth, Senior Adults, and Young Adults) focusing on the disciplines of prayer, Bible study, Worship, and the Stewardship of Time and Finances. These programs will deal directly with the specific needs of persons living in a complex society.

  • We strive to provide the spiritual foundation and support for persons who are hurting and going through tough times.

  • Worship must be diverse, energetic, joyful, creative, exciting, meaningful, and provide opportunities through the experience of the Sacraments, to encounter the Presence and love of God in our collective and personal life.
