5. We recognize and celebrate our theological differences stemming from our unique experiences and backgrounds.

  • We are open-minded, and encourage persons to test and examine their own beliefs in dialogue with other Christians which leads to a diversity of beliefs within our Church.
  • We actively commit to respect and accept those with whom we serve. We should be open and inclusive of the great variety of families, race & social/economic status which exist in our community.
  • We are just one of the many denominations all of which are a part of God’s total Church. Our congregation has many unique gifts to offer those who desire the approach we take toward life and faith. We recognize others may be more comfortable in other congregations.

6. We shall be persons actively involved in missions and ministries inside and outside of the Church.

  • We believe that Christianity is not a passive, but an active thing. Therefore, we believe that every member should be a minister and participate in Christ’s ministry in one form or another
  • Every member of the Church will be encouraged to participate in Christ’s ministry in one form or another.

7. Christianity is fun; joy is a sign of a healthy Church.

  • Hospitality, fellowship, laughter, and play are important elements of our life together.
