“My Lenten Journey” Booklets
Children ages three years through sixth grade should have received a “My Lenten
Journey”
booklet in the mail. The activities in the booklet will help them learn more
about Lent and
help them focus on the importance of this special season. Please put it in a
place where
you and your child will see it (dining table, nightstand, etc.) and
encourage your child to use the
booklet every day. If your child did not receive a booklet, please contact
Tonya ASAP.
“A Walk to the Cross”
Sunday, March 11
4:00-6:00
All ages & parents
The Children’s Council is offering this special event to help your family focus
on the importance
of Lent. Come and do lots of activities related to the cross. There will be
something for all age
groups. We’ll end this special evening with a Lenten worship service
designed just for kids.
This is a family event, so parents are asked to accompany their children.

March 7… Bible Bunch
(After school til 4:30; 3rd & 4th graders)
March 11… Lenten Workshop: A Walk to the Cross
(4:00-6:00; all ages & parents)
April 1 (Palm Sunday) … Dinner
and More Than a Movie (4:00-6:00; K-6th grade)
Movie: Veggie Tales: An Easter Carol. Bring your own dinner
and bring friends!
April 8…Easter Celebration & Egg Hunt
(4-yr.-olds through 4th grade)
*ATTENTION!**ATTENTION!** The egg hunt will be
one of our Easter Celebration rotations
during Sunday School this year…so PARENTS COME WITH YOUR CHILDREN TO
SUNDAY
SCHOOL IF YOU WANT TO SEE THEM HUNT EGGS! They won’t all hunt
together this year
…they’ll hunt at different times. We’ll also have other activities planned
for you to do with your
child on this special day!
*Three-year-olds and younger will have their egg hunt at
10:40 SHARP! Please meet in Fellowship
Hall (Sanctuary Building).
